I’m a Former Performer

I always loved performing. From putting on shows in neighborhood basements, to school productions, community theatre and eventually off Broadway , I always thought I was “following my dream”– but now I believe it was much more than that! I think I was following my heart, my creative spirit! And I think maybe we all have it! Think about how great it feels to sing that song, or dance that dance…to write or paint those feelings into words or images, or create that sculpture or that symphony or that character ??? If you’re anything like me, it feels like your heart and soul are reaching into their fullest potential! And it’s the best! But, sometimes- life gets in the way. As happens to so many of us, Financial stress, family pressures , the difficulties of the various artistic industries and just ” getting serious and settling down” take over…and before you know it, maybe, you find you no longer have the time or the opportunity or the strength to continue? Maybe even now you’re a successful or struggling performer and/or creator at a crossroads ?….Feeling like something’s missing? Something’s lost? I understand and I want to hear from you! Tell me your story — your early creative and /or performance memories, and how they made you feel? Your creative journey, and where it is now? Despite life’s complications, are you still working at it?: do you still explore your creative spirit? If not, do you miss it? And if so, what do you do now to satiate your creative drive? I’m a former performer looking to connect with other creative souls to share and inspire each other! Hi… And welcome! Let’s talk!
